The Tortue has the same type of Grumman wheels as does the Spacex Moon Buggy (above), but it will probably have been inspired by this GAMA toy (nr 3600) from West-Germany (below). This has an electric motor and will attempt to climb over obstacles, rolling over back on its wheels if those are too tall.

The dome roof of the Tortue can be opened to allow a ladder to be unfolded.
