Half-page adverts are of course cheaper than full-pagers, but help to keep up an advertising presence over a certain period. The layouts of these adverts use a part of the illustration of the full-page version. Because the first one is cropped rather awkwardly, I suspect a junior studio artist got told to shift it to the right a bit to have fewer loose bits at the edges. :)
A third version of this advert shown below is identical to the second version above but doesn't have the theme names in the illustration and the awkward toy parts at the edges blacked out. It appeared in Tiger and Jag comic magazine, precise issue unknown.
