The wheels of the spaceships fit snugly in holes in the box insert, which for the Nuclear Pulse and Patrol craft is enough to hold them in place. The Cruiser is held on by a single rubber band looped through the two thin additional slots in the insert. The two smaller slots on either side of the circular hole for the Pulse base accommodate the ends of its spinner launching triggers.
