Blue Shield was a brand of the Great Southern Corp of Memphis, TN, which marketed cheap plastic toys sold in baggies with the cardboard rider seen here. This little set has a number of nicely moulded 1" astronaut figures copied from LP designs (also seen moulded in yellow), together with an underscale Apollo Lunar Exploration Module (and not a capsule as the set name has it). But for 10¢ I think many a boy would happily stage moon landings with this set and that's what counts!
